Environmentalist goes too far?

The environmental group known as ELF (Earth Liberation Front) have been spreading their message these past few years by burning down apartment communities, luxury homes, and vandalizing Hummer and SUVs at US automobile dealerships.

One of the groups members, Kenneth Carley, died while protesting in front of a Portland, OR gas station. He sent in a written statement to an Oregon news station which read:

"Any gas station that allows SUVs, HUM-Vs, motor-cross motorcycles, or any gas guzzler automobile to fill at their site will have blood on their hands. These vehicles are pollutants that are causing animals, and even people, to die from the toxins that they emit."

Mr. Carley protested at the Oregon gas station by consuming 3 teaspoons of gasoline either orally or anally every time the station allowed an SUV type vehicle to fill up. He purposely sat in front of the station completely naked in hopes of keeping business away. Here is an image of Kenneth Carley consuming 3 tablespoons of '87 regular gasoline:

As you can see from the image, the man is completely out of his mind. The gasoline consumption caused him to die the same day.

Friends of Carley swear that he didn't try to kill himself during the protest. His sister told reporters at the hospital:

"He had a kind heart. It's so unfair that he had to sacrifice his life to help save the world. My brother didn't kill himself today, every single sport utility vehicle owner killed him today. I don't know how any owner of an SUV can look at themselves in the mirror ever again after what they did to my brother today."

The FBI considers the Earth Liberation Front one of the nation's most prolific domestic terrorist organizations. It is thought to be responsible for the 1998 torching of a ski resort in Vail, Colo., an arson that caused $12 million in damage and is considered the most destructive act of eco-terrorism in U.S. history.
